Australian Islamic Education Services (AIES) is a dedicated not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting the spiritual, ethical and academic wellbeing of the NSW Muslim community across various platforms. Our success is fundamentally community-based, built on the dedication of volunteers, partners and community members working together.

AIES provides specialised programs tailored to support the spiritual and pastoral needs of the Muslim community.
Special Religious Education (SRE)
We facilitate and manage the delivery of Islamic SRE (Scripture) in NSW public schools. Our program adheres to the core tenets of the Islamic faith, providing students with a structured environment to explore their identity and values.
Chaplaincy & Pastoral Care
Rooted in the Prophetic tradition of the ra’i (shepherd), we provide a bridge between the spiritual needs of the individual and the procedural demands of modern institutions. We ensure that all people, whether Muslims, people of other faiths or no faith, whether in hospitals, schools, prisons and the military have access to high-quality care that nurtures emotional and spiritual wellbeing during life’s most challenging moments.
Our Team
Our strength lies in our leadership and deep connection to the Australian Muslim community.
- Spiritual Guidance: Our members are Imams from Australia’s most respected mosques and religious organisations. They are all members of the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC), the peak body for Islamic clergy in Australia.
- Educational Expertise: Our Board of Directors is comprised of passionate professionals with extensive experience in both the Australian secular and Islamic education sectors. This ensures our programs are pedagogically sound and culturally authentic.
